I loved the breakfast. the waffles were great! The valet QR code system was super handy, and the full breakfast could use some work. I'd definitely come back!

Oh, the cinnamon rolls from the breakfast bar were legendary, a real sweet treat! And the lively atmosphere at Ernie's bar really added to our fun time. The cleaning crew kept everything looking sharp, and the location was just a stone's throw from the Alamo and River Walk!
But no breakfast included—just a grab-and-go situation. The room windows faced an inner lobby that they called a historic view? The crack in the bathroom sink didn't exactly score points either!

The ambiance of the hotel truly captures the historical essence of the area. I especially enjoyed the cozy bar, where I found some excellent drink options that elevated our evenings.
However, the room amenities fell short of my expectations.

Our family had a fantastic stay! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Alamo and the Riverwalk. The girls loved the pool area, and the Starbucks downstairs made for quick breakfasts every morning. We also enjoyed the delicious cactus fries at the Tavern.
In my wife’s opinion, the pool could use some heating. It was a tad too chilly for the kids to enjoy thoroughly.

My stay at the Crockett was very enjoyable. The staff provided outstanding service, from the efficient front desk to the accommodating valet, making check-in a breeze. The room was spacious and immaculately cleaned, with a comfortable king bed and a fantastic view of the Alamo. Breakfast exceeded expectations, offering a generous buffet with hot options like eggs and waffles. The hotel's location is ideal, being right across from the Alamo and close to the RiverWalk.
Minor noise from the street, but well-insulated windows helped.

I really appreciated that we could see the back of the Alamo from our fifth-floor room. It was just a short walk to the beautiful River Walk which I enjoyed strolling along every evening.

I had a lovely four-night stay where I enjoyed the amazing blueberry muffins at the coffee shop and some great live music in the tavern. The outdoor seating area was perfect for relaxing with friends after a long day of exploring. Just a heads up, there wasn't any housekeeping service during my stay, but that didn't ruin the experience at all! ☕
